Invasiveness, vulnerability, fragmentation and connectedness are themes that I want to explore through imagery that conveys surreal, unsettling beauty. In recent work, a fusion of plant and human anatomy (at times abstracted) suggests a disturbing relationship when we think of the abuse that is perpetually inflicted upon our natural environment and resources. Whenever possible, I try to use wood scraps and found materials to minimize the impact of out and production.
