Cathleen Cohen – Bio

Living outside of Philadelphia, Cathleen enjoys painting, poetry writing, and teaching these art forms to students from diverse cultures, backgrounds and communities through the Arts & Spirituality Center, where she is the Education Director. She received a certificate from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 1997 and a doctorate in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University in 1981, where she studied children’s writing development. Cathleen has published poetry and articles in various journals and books, and has shown paintings at the Rosenfeld Gallery in Philadelphia; Morpeth Gallery in Hopewell, NJ; and RiverArts Gallery in Stockton, NJ, among others.
