Christie Blizard’s recent work is an exploration of the boundaries between high and low technology, spirituality, collaboration, and fragmentation. She has been featured in New American Paintings South Edition, 58 in 2005. She is a member of SOHO20 and has been featured in over 30 national and international exhibitions since 2003, including the “22nd International Juried Show” at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, juried by Carter Foster. She has also attended several residencies including the Montana Artists Refuge, The School of Visual Arts Summer Residency Program, and is scheduled to attend the Vermont Studio Center in the summer of 2008. Her work also engages in a series of collaborations with Steve Page, an artist from Brooklyn.
