An exhibition of new multi- unit wall sculptures by Ginny Fox will be on view at SOHO20 Chelsea from October 5- 30, 2004. Ginny Fox is known for her unique exploration and manipulation of material and surface. The exhibition will include two new bodies of work: one pigmented wax encaustic on wood, the other constructed of painted and layered acrylic panels. Both series were inspired by the concept of infinity, both physical and spiritual. The small geometric shapes are each a complete entity, yet interconnect as part of a larger, seemingly endless structure. Ginny Fox has exhibited throughout the United States, including the Berkshire Museum in Massachusetts, Del Mar College in Texas, and Artsites Gallery and Alpan Gallery in New York.
Her work has been reviewed in several publications, including The New York Times and New York Business Womenís Calendar.
This will be her fourth solo exhibition at SOHO20 Chelsea. |
