An exhibition of painted constructions by Ginny Fox will be on view at SOHO20 Chelsea Gallery from September 5-30, 2006.
Each piece in this exhibit consists of richly colored and textured acrylic box forms that are interconnected on the gallery walls. At once reminiscent of stone, metal, wood and glass, bands of color evoke layers beneath as well as connections between each element. Thus each work can be viewed as a single entity, or as a part of the larger structure of the installation.
Ginny Fox has exhibited throughout the United States. Her work has been reviewed in several publications, including The New York Times, Business Women's Calendar, and Abstract Art on Line.
This will be her fifth solo exhibition at SOHO20 Chelsea Gallery
