Modern Art Foundry is pleased to present Kristin H. Eyfells and Bob Fetty at Soho20 Chelsea. In following with our continued efforts to represent artist who have their work cast at Modern Art Foundry, in addition to our two galleries; Spring Gallery and Alternative Space, we are honored to be able to extend our efforts in the famous Chelsea section of New York City. On view will be 15 cast bronze sculptures and installations.

Modern Art Foundry is currently celebrating our 74th year in the fine art casting business and continues to operate as a family run business. Moving forward we would like to work with other galleries to introduce three dimensional artists work to the public.

Kristin H. Eyfells
Kristin H. Eyfells was born in Iceland and at the age of twenty-one she was C.E.O. and founder of a very successful dress business. Early in her business career she met architect and sculptor, Johann Eyfells and four years later they married and moved to the east coast. She decided to attend Hofstra University in Long Island, New York and inspired by her husband's dedication to the arts, she signed up for a sculpture class. Later they moved to Gainesville, Florida and she continued her studies at the University of Florida. She began to exhibit in 1962 and has been featured in over one hundred exhibitions in the United States and Europe.

Kristin H. Eyfells passed away in Gainesville, Florida - July 2002.

Bob Fetty From his studio in Flagler Beach Florida to his hands on creative work with the craftsmen at Modern Art Foundry, Bob Fetty makes himself a part of every phase needed to complete his sculpture. Challenging us with geometric, cylindrical, and angular shapes, Bob accentuates the combination of abstract and organic. Educated at Glenville State College-Glenville, West Virginia, Bobıs recent "Compression Series," exhibition at the Deland Museum of Art, Deland Florida and the instillation of 10 outdoor sculptures at Loch Haven Park in Orlando are culminations of numerous one man shows, group shows, and the inclusion in private collections throughout the United States. He is currently working on a sculpture garden for Paradise Valley Arizona. "The Girls of South Beach," is an on-going project in the series which each piece is completed in a different patina.
