SOHO20 and 2015 Residency Lab resident, Katya Grokhovsky proudly presented an open round table, focusing on the personal, often silent protests women carry out in their daily lives due to persistent and overwhelming feelings of hopelessness, expectations, patriarchy exhaustion and gender inequality. The Feminist Urgent Roundtable #4 was moderated by Katya Grokhovsky, artist, curator and founder of Feminist Urgent project. This discussion is the first event in Rethinking Feminism - a series of discussions, panels and events which will take place throughout the upcoming season, intended to examine different viewpoints within the current discourse around feminism in our daily lives, in the art world, and between generations.
Feminist Urgent is an in-flux open-forum, social practice, curatorial, activist community through which discussions and events are organized.
