For a number of years I have continued to be fascinated with marks, surface, patterning and the visual image created by repetition. My focus continues to be on the use of line, pattern, repetition, and surface. Current encaustic pieces use words, runes, symbols, collage elements, and textures. I am continuing to explore the universal meanings attached to symbols and marks. The images and written text used in my work reflects upon events, philosophies, autobiographical material, and symbols with personal references.
