ARTIST RESIDENCY PROGRAM: Summer Residency Lab
SOHO20’s new Residency Lab aims to foster open dialogue between working artist and visiting public. Cultivating possibilities of gallery as creative incubator, SOHO20’s full exhibition space will be offered to a selected artist as a studio from mid July – August. The program is designed to support the creation of new work, while offering opportunities to explore notions of the studio practice on view, and active/passive interactions with daily visitors. SOHO20 will remain open during our regular hours, and the artist(s) should be available to work in the gallery during open hours at least 3 days a week. The artist will be promoted through visibility on the SOHO20 website and email newsletters. The artist will have the opportunity to use the gallery to develop and host events, and participate in the annual SOHO20 artist members’ group show in the winter. For a complete prospectus click here

SOHO20 offers a fellowship award to a selected artist each year. This award grants full membership benefits to one artist, without the financial obligation of regular membership. For more information click here
