SOHO20 seeks bright, motivated individuals who are interested in volunteering to work on all aspects of gallery management at our space in the heart of Bushwick. Interns and volunteers will work directly with the Gallery Director on exhibitions, development, community outreach, event planning, administration, social media and more. Potential volunteers should be able to work independently on projects, have excellent communication and writing skills, and be social media savvy. Candidates should be willing to learn new skills, and also have an interest in contemporary art and supporting women in the arts.
Candidates are asked to commit to at least one full six hour workday per week for a minimum of one full semester (or 4 months), except during the abbreviated summer months. Students are encouraged to apply for school credit.
