Patricia Berube was born in 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri. Her formal art education began when she attended Syracuse University from 1982-1986, where Berube earned a BFA in Painting. Since graduating from Syracuse and working in New York City, she continued her education at Columbia University where she earned a Master Degree in 1993. Professional work experiences with The MOMA, The Edward R. Broida Collection and the Leonard Hutton Gallery enabled her to work directly with fine arts.Her work has also been exhibited throughout the United States including exhibitions at Duxbury Art Complex Museum(Duxbury, MA), James Library Gallery (Norwell, MA), Fuller Craft Museum (Brokton, MA), the Attleboro Art Museum (Attleboro, MA), Columbia University and Syracuse University (NY). She has participated in numerous group shows at Soho2o Gallery where she also had three solo exhibitions: “Woman: Elements” (2002), “Patricia Berube: Recent Work” (2004), and “Patricia Berube: Recent Work” (2006).
