Tiffany Besonen earned her graduate degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, and has exhibited her work in New York City and throughout the Midwest. She is a recipient of the 2005 Minnesota State Arts Board Grant, various art residencies, and in January 2007 had a solo exhibit at the SOHO20 Gallery in New York City. In June and July of 2007, Finlandia University Gallery in Upper Michigan hosted the exhibit Kotiväki, a two-person mixed-media installation about building family and home by Tiffany and her husband, Daniel Besonen. Her work is in two current traveling group exhibits, The Veil: Visible & Invisible Spaces and Reimagining the Distaff Toolkit. Tiffany Besonen was born and currently resides in rural Northern Minnesota, where she works on her mixed-media art, teaches art in public schools, and lives on a farm with her family.
