I have always been drawn to extremes of nature like volcanoes, fires, floods, the highest mountains, the deepest gorges. I am also drawn to extremes of human emotion and behavior. These are the subjects that engage me visually. "Fissure Volcano" and "Wildfire" are examples of nature's extremes. "Birnam Wood Comes to Dunsinane" evokes, the terror and fury of the last scenes of "Macbeth." All three works present Danger Zones.
