Cuba is on shaky ground. Over 1/2 million people have left Cuba in the last 4 years looking for a better life—leaving a hole in the hearts of their loved ones! A dozen eggs cost as much as a monthly stipend. Unheard of until now, the Cuban government has asked the UN for powdered milk for their children. Starvation is real. Yet the Cuban people are resilient and find music, sports, dance, rum and arts as a means to excel and find joy.
