I love working with found gloves and preserving them in the gesture that they come to me. The quirkiness of each form seems expressive of each of our particular natures. We, as human beings and caretakers of the planet, hold life in our hands every day. How tenderly do we do so, with how much consciousness? During this time of pandemic, we have the opportunity to slow down, reconsider what is really important. Recognizing our inter-connectedness and acting more responsibly towards the whole of our inextricably intertwined world would seem an appropriate response. We are all subject to the touch of time.
