I have always lived with dogs in the house. The count of animals including dogs, totaled thirteen at one chaotic moment. I was born with an older sister, Kiltsie, a Scottie. Dogs continued, large and small. Until several months ago when I rescued first a dear, dark, hound mix, but had to give him up after two weeks of trying to face a future with his phobias. Then my dream, I adopted a Greyhound. She had me half crazed in five days. I returned her, and came home to make a paradigm shift in my pet expectations.
