Terms and Conditions

Introducing Soho20's new exhibition, Terms and Conditions.

SOHO20 Gallery presents Terms and Conditions, a group exhibition examining the evolving landscape of free speech, censorship, and the fragile boundaries that define what can be said and by whom at this moment in history.

Anchored in the principles of the First Amendment, this exhibition explores the power, complexity, and vulnerability of free speech in contemporary life. While this right has long been upheld as a cornerstone of democratic society, the exhibition questions how free speech is exercised, manipulated, restricted, or silenced across political, social, and personal contexts.

The choices being made now by governments, institutions, platforms, and individuals will shape the future limits of speech, perception, and truth. Through diverse media and perspectives, SOHO20 Gallery invites viewers to reflect on their own role within this shifting landscape.
